Good all inclusive hotel in the Canary Islands suitable for active teens

We are hoping to go to one of the Canary Islands this year. We have two older and very active teens who will need entertaining. I have found some lovely looking hotels that seem to offer great kids clubs and excellent facilities to help the adults then relax, but we also need good sports activities for teens. We are looking for all inclusive, somewhere where these hungry teens can have a good choice of restaurants.

I am really hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I'm not very good a researching holidays! We would be looking for a 4/5 star hotel.

Club La Santa is sports-tastic. Looks like you can book anything from room only to full board.

Hard rock hotel in Tenerife? Bit spendy but lovely!

Thank you very much to both of you. These look great!

@minipie Have you been here? The sports available look amazing. Would it also be suitable for the couch potato adults?

@pinkteddy Thank you, this is actually one of the hotels I have been looking at, it looks great. Have you been? I can't find much about the sporting activities that they provide, do you know? We would be looking at spending quite a bit of money so really want to get it right for everyone.

Thank you both for your help, I really appreciate it.

Yes I’ve been a couple of times. It’s lovely. Food is great. I can’t speak for the sports as apart from aerobics I didn’t do much in the way of activity! I will double check with my DH - he’s out at mo.

@pinkteddy thank you, that's really kind of you!

@maryberryforqueen DH can’t remember but on the Jet 2 website it says : Aerobics, aqua aerobics, basketball, darts*, football, mini-golf, pilates, table tennis, volleyball and yoga.

On the hard rock website it says there are lots of sports available but it’s not clear whether you have to book externally.

Magic life on fuerteventura. Has a teens programme (or did 3 years ago) some included but surfing and snorkelling was extra.

mitogoshigg · 03/01/2025 17:49

Cheaper than hard rock on Tenerife is the sunlight, really close to hard rock so you can easily visit. It's on bus route and lots of activities close by but not included at the hotel

I haven’t been to Club La Santa no, just seen it recommended on here. Re couch potato adults - I’m sure the sports aren’t compulsory, I guess you might just feel you’re paying a premium for things you’re not using? However benefit of a very sporty resort is there’s always space by the pool!

Thank you everybody, I really appreciate the help.

@pinkteddy thank you every so much for looking, I think this hotel looks perfect for us. I was looking on their web site and couldn't work out what sports there were. Thank you for your help!

@minipie thank you, I will take a look at Club La Santa.
