Ronda or El Gastor? Tips on which to pick please.

Happy New Year! I am currently looking to book a villa in Andalusia for summer (to get me through the dark months of winter), and I am looking at Ronda and El Gastor. Has anyone been to either or both and can recommend which area to pick. They both look lovely, I love the idea of being out in the mountains near El Gastor but also find the ease of being near Ronda appealing. Any advice would be so welcome. Thank you :)

I don’t remember there being much in Ronda. I think we visited it and maybe spent 1-2hrs. What about Granada?

I'd stay near Estepona. Great lively busy and not high rise style at all, great food scene in the town, and fab paseo for walking/cycling all around the coast. Train from San Roque to Ronda, and the fab white town of Casares is close by, along with plenty of other options to explore eg Seville and Cadiz.
