Tui extra legroom - worth it?

Family of five on a 9 hour flight, it would be an additional £500. However everything I've read says it's only an extra 2"?!

Depends how tall you are. Are you normally cramped in TUI seats?

Yes imo but we are all tall

No very average heights but was thinking more for sense of space / added comfort for the long flight.

We just had these for a 9 hour flight. To be honest it was barely any difference about 2 inches sounds right to be honest and we wouldn't bother again even though DH is 6ft3. If you don't have young children you are better off choosing the seats by the emergency exits as they have much more leg room but under 12s can't sit there!

Ah thanks that's useful to know. I've tried to downgrade my seats to standard online and unsurprisingly - it's not an option! Bulkhead seats would be ideal but two of the three kids are <12!
