WeekendAway for 10th Birthday

Last year I booked an amazing house for my 50th birthday. Sauna, hot tub, pool, tennis court, games room, cellar where the oldies did karaoke all night - it was bloody awesome. My kids and others joined and it was brilliant. Cost an arm and a leg, once in a lifetime stuff.

My DS wants to go back for his 10th in Easter next year. It's just not an option. What can we do that will tick all the boxes but not bankrupt us? The boxes are:

Plenty of space
Outdoor fun
Indoor fun
Self catering
Comfortable and nice
Privacy
Sleeping 4 kids and 4 adults probably

Southern England ideally!

Forest holiday? We love them and not too expensive compared to centre parks (but by no means cheap!

Ooh thanks they look lovely - are activities at additional cost? The birthday is nearly always slap bang in the Easter hols!

We're fans of youth hostels - but they probably wouldn't give you the privacy you want. Most have a self catering kitchen, games room and are relatively cheap.

@golemmings some yha sites have self catering facilities or glamping/yurts? I think

Thanks, I'll take a look, I do have to remember it's not for me, they won't care for the luxury kitchen or gorgeous deco!
