Help me find the unicorn of holidays!

Hi all, hoping the collective mind can help me find the elusive "unicorn" of holiday accomodation I am looking for.
It's for two adults, two children aged 2 and 5 at the start of May.
So essentials-
-canaries, greek islands, turkey (so a bit warmer).
-two separate bedrooms with a proper door in between, not a sliding partition separating what's essentially one room.
-has medium height waterslides on site ( for the 5 year old who needs more than the baby ones but not crazy ones either!!)
And then desirable

  • all inclusive.
  • no more than an hour transfer from the airport
  • no more than £3000 altogether.

It's frustrating that most travel sites you can't filter by accomodation type and most hotels just have us all in one room which means no one sleeps!
I have spent hours on TUI, jet2 and easyjet holidays so hoping people the collective might be able to give some suggestions of places they have stayed which meets the brief.
Thanks all

El trebol in lanzarotes fits the bill I reckon

2 bed AI with a kids slide pool

It's not fancy mind. Food is good rooms
Are clean and nice. Towels are rubbish and there's no toiletries. Buffet is good. Resort is nothing special.

Following with interest as would like sinilar.

We did Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel last year in Paphos. Has a family adjoining room option. We did half board for AI is an option. Very close to the airport. Has a eater slide. Was quite nice and fairly warm end of April/beginning of May.

Use the TUI and Jet 2 website filters to find a hotel that works as a one bed, then go on their own website to see if you can book a two bed apartment direct. That's what we've done for next year (Menorca though, so no good for you).

Tui blue Tropical.

Atlantica Mare Village Paphos - there are some others same chain that follow similar model too.

They have quite a few different room set ups including 2 bedrooms.

Decent kids club, great splash park, the AI was great and has its own beach/cove to wander to

Not sure on costs at that time of year but have a look at the Residence rooms at the Arum Barut hotel near Side in Turkey.

We went with Jet2.

T/f was an hour even though they said it would be 1 1/2 hours.

Cala Pada in Ibiza has two bedroom apartments which are very spacious, my fav hotel room with kids so far! Not sure how warm Ibiza is in May though.

Try any of the Club Cordial properties in the Canaries. We stayed half board in Puerto de Mogan (Gran Canaria) - had a one bed but they do two bed ones too, and I think the hotel down the road (Cordial Mogan Playa) does AI. Really lovely resort and brilliant value for money.

It mystifies me why hotels marketed to families seem to assume everyone wants to be crammed into the same room. I do wish adjoining rooms could be the norm. It's so hard to find your own space, even in really expensive resorts.

Branleuse · 28/12/2024 16:43

Maybe consider Morocco. Ive seen a couple of all inclusive water park hotels just outside Marrakech. Also Agadir.
I think Morocco is great value

Pine Bay Resort Kusadasi. Stay in one of the bungalows. Two other waterparks nearby too.

Gural Premier in Belek, Turkey, has two bedroom suites (two bedrooms, one bathroom), which we stayed in when our kids were younger. There was a on-site water park with a variety of different slides. We liked it so much we went back the next year.

Yep! We'd be more interested in staying in hotels if connected rooms were more common.

Stayed here earlier in the year with 3&1 yr old. The superior room is two separate rooms, 2 bathrooms, access to balcony from both rooms.
