Winter holiday with toddler

Hi, I'm looking to go on a winter holiday with my 18 month old, I want somewhere where there is lots to do for him as he wont be skiing. Thanks

If it is cold toddlers find it hard to enjoy the activities for long. You can hire a sled and go on walks or take gondola lifts up and down but it will be fairly limited in terms of outdoor play areas and things to do in the snow. Probably 18 months is too wobbly to skate although some rinks have chairs to push them around or penguins for support if they are coordinated enough. Otherwise you are relying on indoor pools and playgroups, just like at home. There are kinder-hotels in Austria and Germany which are family orientated but more on daycare so parents can ski and early mealtimes.
