Where to travel for Colonial style hotels?

Thinking about the colonial era/style hotels you get in Nairobi or certain spots in the caribbean.

Where else can you find these?

Hmm not sure are there any left in India or Singapore?
Otherwise I think Kenya and the Caribbean are the only places to look.

La Residence in Hue (Vietnam). We stayed in a great one in Ho Chi Minh City too, but I forget its name. Loads of colonial era hotels in SE. Asia.

Not quite the same, but some of the grand hotels in Budapest are getting that way

The Imperial in New Delhi.

Fabulous colonial era art collection, also famous restaurant and a great spa.

The Grand Hotel Residencia in Gran Canaria is absolutely beautiful. It's also in a fab location, with lots of upmarket restaurants and shops if you want to wander further than the hotel grounds. Love it because of the relatively short flight and year-round weather
