Somewhere cold and snowy for a cosy week but near restaurants?

Can anyone recommend somewhere or an area like this? Thinking of somewhere to escape next Christmas!

Traditional Cottage with fireplace
Pretty surroundings (quiet)
But close enough to drive to decent restaurants
Snowy/cold

Ideally in Europe but might consider further afield

Any expensive ski resort! Zermatt, Verbier, Courcheval, Wengen - anywhere with money! And snow! Cottage might be difficult. As might driving on snowy roads! Salzburg is pretty but no guaranteed snow. Geneva ditto. In many ski resorts you can go up the mountains to eat.
