Cosy hotel in London for February

Hi, I’m hoping that someone can help here.

I’m planning a special night or two in London in February with my husband.

I’m looking for a characterful, cosy winter hotel with a real fire. Also a decent breakfast (a lot of these hotels seem to bring them to your room in a basket which I don’t like). I’d like it to be in a characterful area.

We do have one thing we need to do just off Bond Street but apart from that have no commitments. Previous bits of London I have liked are Chelsea (all the little streets and old pubs ), Notting Hill, Spitalfields/Shoreditch/Brick Lane. Bit of an eclectic mix!

Thanks.

@Dontwearmysocks thanks. They look lovely. But no breakfast sadly.

Try again

The Hoxton, Shorefitch

I've not stated there, but I have been to two of their other hotels, which are similar to what I think you want. They do breakfast! There are 4 Hoxton's in Londo, the Shoreditch one has a fire on their website! Although a small chain, they are all individual. ,

The Lalit is wonderful but probably not in a brilliant location if you're going near Bond Street.

Broadwick Soho? Can’t remember about fireplaces though as we were there in summer
