Recommendation for Spain

Hi all

Hoping for some recommendations for Spain or Canary Islands. Planning to take my partner and 65 year old Dad. My Dad wants more of a relaxing holiday with some bars/pubs to visit in the evening. My partner and I like to explore and get a bit of food and culture so something that is best of both worlds? Ideally walking distances to shops/bars/restaurants and a beach?

Any recommendations?

We're looking to go in either June or September I think.

We have recently enjoyed lovely holidays to Javea and Estepona. Check them out!

I would recommend Fuengirola at that time of year. It’s got excellent transport links to and from Malaga for the culture but is nice and flat for getting about on foot and an excellent beach.
The markets are great and there’s a good mix of bars and restaurants.
