...If so can I pick your brains?

We're staying at my Aunt's flat (in the 'Minerva' complex) and will hopefully spend our days at the pool but I heard there is a zoo and a sealife centre there. Is there and can you walk to it? I've been there 8 times but pre-ds so only went for the suntan!

Also I assume taxi's won't have car seats fitted as standard so do I just hold ds tight on my lap?

Any good restaurants down the Marina?

Any top tips would be gratefully recieved. Oh and how is the weather?

look here, scroll down a bit

I wouldn't recommend holding a child on your lap in a taxi, but don't know what the law in Spain says. It may be that you can book car seats with taxi in advance. Otherwise, it's probably safer to use public transport. IME the spanish are bloody dangerous erratic drivers, and are more likely to respect a bus than a taxi.

I don't live there but have been there many times as my Mum lives fairly close and I wouldn't recommend a taxi with no car seat. We did this once and never again, I was fearing for our lives as we were tailgating cars in the fast lane on the motorway!!!

Do you know what road the complex is on? You can probably look it up on Google maps.

Deffo take your own car seat. Legally you don't have to have a car seat in a taxi but the traffic is very heavy and can be quite fast . The n340 road is one of the most dangerous in Spain.

The Sealife centre is on the port and the zoo is in Fuengirola which is a short drive away. There is quite a good bus service. I wouldn't recommend any of the restaurants on the port as they are over priced and the food is usually rubbish.
