Trip to Delhi and pollution - Anyone been lately?

We are due to go next week! But the news reports about the pollution levels don't look too good 😕. We're in reasonably good health with no breathing difficulties etc. Has anyone been recently (or during high pollution periods) and if so, how was it? Would you go?

Not Delhi but when I travelled through SE Asia I had a very dry mouth and throat and developed a cough. That’s pretty common if you’re not used to that amount of pollution. Many wear face masks, so I wore one too when on the road, but I’m not sure they do much. It generally didn’t take away from the travelling experience.

I was there in April. TBH I think it's pretty bad all year round in the city.
