Kefalonia - familymoon with older teenagers

OH and I are getting married next summer and will head off on a familymoon end of August with our blended family. 4 teenagers. Range 15-18.

Due to budget we will do a package with flights and basic ish accommodation.

We all love Greece and we were looking at Kefalonia where we haven’t been before. The DCs will want some form of night life whilst we will be more into relaxing. A nice beach, snorkelling and relaxing with a book and enjoying a lovely sunset. Absolutely not a big hotel or too busy.

Has anyone been to the areas of Lourdas, Katelios or Klimatsia Beach?

Grateful for tips.

I love Katelios. But it’s very quiet. The beach is ok - nothing special. The food is amazing and everyone is very friendly. It feels like Greece 20 years ago.
So it’s perfect for a honeymoon but maybe not great for teenagers. There’s no night
life.
Havent been to the other areas

I’ve been to both Lourdas and Katelios when my DS was young - pre school/primary age. Both lovely beaches but far too quiet of an evening for teens.

Once he was a bit older, we had several holidays in Lassi which I think would be by far your best bet with teens. Its close proximity to Argostloli gives a wider choice for evenings - plus you can get the ferry across to Lioxouri for another change in scenery.
