Plane Seats on Tui

Georgieporgie29 · 16/12/2024 19:54

I’m looking to book a holiday and one of the steps is choosing seats on the plane. I’m just wondering which would be best for a 6ft 3 man, the extra leg room or the extra space ones? Is there much difference between the 2? Thank you.

Extra space .

Try to work out where the exits are and choose one of those

We had the extra leg room last time, I’ve got quite long legs. I’m not 6’3 though! I imagine
extra leg room wouldn’t be extra enough.
Not tried the extra space ones,
sorry.
How long is the flight? I was comfortable in the extra leg room seat - well, more so than usual. It’s not masses of space, I’d say about 15cm or so?

Extra space has more room.

"Extra space" seems to be TUI's name for the exit row and bulkhead (front row) seats. These will come with about 6 inches of extra legroom.

"Extra legroom" seems to refer to how on some aircraft they have moved a few of the regular seats a couple of inches further apart. That will be confirmed if "extra legroom" is a cheaper upgrade than "extra space". A couple of inches will probably be enough for a 6ft3 man, based on the experiences of a 6ft4 family member who I have just consulted, who regularly flies with Ryanair and EasyJet.

Can you see the exact aircraft type for the flight? You can then look this up under TUI on sites like aerolopa dot com or seatguru dot com and see exactly what's what.

Thanks everyone, flight is about 4 hours so was hoping for a bit more room (not me, I’m a short arse 😆) but thought if I was booking it I might aswell book the one with more room.

@samarrange thats weird, we had the legroom ones and were in the emergency exit row.
OP I’d book either tbh, it’s a short flight so any amount of extra space will be lovely!
