I’m looking for either a cottage with a hot tub / sauna (both ideally) or a cottage with access to a nice health spa (not just a local leisure centre).

or…

something sort of centre parcs ish would be an alternative but I’ve looked so hard for something like that and just seems to not really exist for winter months anyway.

DCs are older (12 and 10) and would therefore want more older activities eg a climbing wall, pool, etc don’t need everything that CP offers but a few things would be great but happy for it to be close by not on site.

Has anyone been anywhere they can recommend? We are hoping to go in January so maybe it’s just not a good time to be looking. CP is fully booked so that’s not actually even an option. Budget for 3 nights up to £1500 so I’m thinking I should be able to find something but so far can’t as obviously lots of places are full.

Might sound ridiculous, but Butlins in Bognor have all of those things.

It is not ridiculous but DH no way he will go to butlins. He worked there in his youth and is 100% against it. I’ve never been myself.
