Planning my own healing retreat - Wales?

I’ve been looking at a healing/wellness retreat as I experienced burnout this year.
They are really expensive- around £1000 a night in the UK! And also potentially a bit overwhelming being in the group 24/7.

im thinking of creating my own - staying in a little lodge or something, pool onsite or nearby, in an area with lovely walking and where I could book in massages, yoga etc.

maybe wales? As it’s beautiful and about three hours drive from me.
any suggestions for an area or venue?
many thanks

Not a venue as such but my favourite place is Pembrokeshire...especially if you like coastal walking!

I think the Gower would be great, but they're very strict with planning. Someone had lovely little lodges, but the council are making him pull them down. I don't they had planning permission. It's a shame because they fit the landscape well. I agree Pembrokeshire way would be a great place.

Would this fit the bill? In a really beautiful area with loads of walks, both inland and coastal, and also close to the lovely holiday resort of Tenby.

Charlotte Church has a healing retreat in Wales which I'd love to try out

I'd love to do my own version as well, I think I'd get stressed out by the usual kind.

@DaveWatts @badger21 @morningtoncrescent62 im going to look at all of these, thanks so much!
the canopy and stars cabin looks great!
im thinking i could attend a local yoga class, book a private massage and aromatherapy or something, and download some somatic meditations.
and get nice food and a mini bottle of fizz. And some chocolate.

Carmarthenshire. It's absolutely gorgeous and full of just the right sort of practitioners and activities for a good reset.
Canopy and Stars is a great shout.

I went on one of the juice fasting retreats last year and honestly found it way more peaceful than I expected. Being away from my usual routine helped loads, especially with the daily structure and nature walks. If you're planning your own spot, maybe check out areas near the coast or forests, quiet and perfect for switching off.
