we are flying to praia de luz in may half term with 20 mnth old ds and 4 yr old dd. any tips on how to entertain them on flight. Also has anyone a rough idea of spending money needed for family of 5 self catering for one week?

If you're going self-catering I find the groceries are about the same as here only the fruit and veg are better quality. In Lagos (just east of luz) there are bigger supermarkets like Intermarche and also weekly markets.
Eating out is similar to here too in terms of cost.
