Hep A and Typhoid vaccinations for baby

Hello,

Any idea where I can find literature/advice in regard to the above. I have had a look at www.immunisation.nhs.co but did not find anything on it. We are traveling to the South East Asia, and the above vaccination is advised. DD is 6 months mid next month.

TIA.

not sure - we went to Morocco when dd was 7wks and were told she didn't need them, but she was a) exclusively bf and b) not mobile, so obv at lower risk than a crawler on solids...

MrsB - traveling at 7 weeks? Goodness, I barely dare to step out of the house then, partly because I was too exhausted.

oh it was fab
5* all inclusive beach resort - not our normal kind of holiday at all
she did nothing but feed and sleep and we lay on sunloungers while waiters brought us drinks
no cooking
no cleaning
lovely weather
ramps everywhere for the pram
buffet dinners meant one parent jiggled while the other ate and both got a hot meal

I can't recommend it enough

Anyway, thank you very much for your posting. Will do more research online in regard to the vaccinations.

Typhoid - we were told can't be given until they are 2yo.
Hep A - can't remember, I'll have to check at home. Your GP's surgery should be able to tell you.

4gotoindia - thank you.

Will check with the GP, but do let me know what you find out on the Hep A. The GP we go to is not very helpful sometimes.
