Anyone been to Hall Hill..or was it Hill Hall farm in durham??

dd going with school, im going as parent helper, trying to get onto website to see whats there and show dd but no luck?..anyone been?, is it any good?

We used to go quite often. I can't remember if we have been since their restock following Foot & Mouth.

It is quite good. A nice selection of farm animals, and some small animals for handling. A tractor-trailer ride. A good play area to let off steam. Fairlt chilly and windswept.

All in all, fine but not earth-shattering. Hope you have a good trip.

At this time of year they will probably have fluffy chicks.

Yes I live quite near too - dds loved the chicks and feeding the lambs and the tractor rides. Dd won a competition a few years ago to name their latest calf - Poppy - but dont know if shes still there now. Enjoy.

aw thats great thanks, will keep an eye out for poppy..so windeswept eh?, best to take warm clothes, wellies and jeans??

another mum wanted to go and help but as shes pregnant they advised against it, something to do with the Ewe's and passing on toxins????
