Beautiful place with a sea view for February

DH wants to take me for a night away this February for our anniversary. Where is lovely in South Wales or Devon that I could suggest? I love a sea view and a walk on the beach and am not so keen on dogs.

Slightly out oh your area we went to St Ives in winter. The weather was dry and cool so we did lots of exploring. We stayed at a pub on the harbour.

Gara Rock, The Scarlet, Harbour Hotels in Cornwall.

Seconding Gara Rock, a hotel right on the coastal path and giving a lovely walk to Salcombe. Their secret suite in the grounds is amazing.

Burgh Island if you've got the budget as the beach isn't dog friendly.

I would actually suggest Royal Hotel in Weymouth. You can have a sea facing room with a little balcony. Loads of places to walk and lovely beach. Love it there.

I fancied the royal@RedDiamond but it appears to be booked up to April.
Possibly beyond,I got tired entering dates!

I am tempted by Burgh Island now! It looks amazing.

The St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot is amazing and ticks all your boxes.

Scarlett or Harbour Hotel just outside salcombe

Very hard to find anywhere that’s dog free especially at this time of year ( some beaches are closed to canines from May to September), but anywhere on the coast of Pembrokeshire is wonderful. Albeit likely to be very blustery in February, especially the exposed north coast.

@MeJuly St. Brides Spa Hotel is lovely with a great sea view but I suggest you look at Welsh Rarebit hotels - they have a website! We've stayed in several of them and never been disappointed.
