DLA + going travelling

Hi

I get DLA on behalf of my son

I'm aware we can go abroad for 13 weeks and still get paid (or longer if due to medical treatment which isn't our case)

We want to go travelling for 6 months

What would happen after those 13 weeks, would DLA completely cancel our claim or would the payments just stop until we get back?

Our renewal isn't for a few years yet

You need to report if your child goes abroad for more than 4 weeks. See here
