Cottages on North East Coast USA, Maine, New Hampshire, etc

Anyone been on holiday in this area? need to book somewhere for Jul/ Aug.

holiday-rentals has a few.

Have used them in Spain but not in the US.

eg, in Maine $1500 a week in August. (romantic and historic, lol)
