I went to Kefalonia for my honeymoon.
We stayed in Scala and i can say hand on heart it was stunning.
Scala is the place to go if you like water sports and there are lots of local food resturants to choose from.
We wnt to Lassi one morning but found it really busy and "English".
I would recommend Kefaleonia on the whole 100%.
Beautiful island, very friendly people.

I went to Lassi a few years ago.

A small, quiet resort with lovely restaurants. The beaches are lovely, with loads of space.

A very relaxing holiday, but that was before we had the children when you were able to relax and read a book etc!!!

I do like Greece for a holiday, but tend to go to Portugal or Spain since having the kids as it can get so hot in Greece.

Enjoy

I went last year - lovely place . Small resort really but just enough to do - enough restaurants and enough life to make it fine for a family without being too busy. Gorgeous beaches to.

Kefalonia is gorgeous but Skiathos is my favourite!

Kefalonia is beautiful - just be wary of the roads until you've acclimatised to them and the way that the locals drive!

North of the island is more mountainous than the South (so driving more hazardous there - I was glad we didn't venture into the North at the start of our holiday!)

Fiskardo was over-rated IMO - very touristy.

Am !
