Hi,
I am looking to go to Drayton manor with my 2 kids who are 4yo and 10yo. Thomas land will be for my youngest and then the bigger rides for my 10yo.
we are travelling from Edinburgh so will stay overnight, is it worth doing 2 days in the park or will 1 day be enough to cover it all.

Thank you. 😊

I think it depends if you are going in the school holidays or not. I don't have recent experience, but when we went 7 years ago, mine were 3 and 5 at the time, we stayed in the onsite hotel the night before (it was surprisingly cheap) and had a full day (Saturday) in the park and that was plenty. The queues were pretty short (it was early September) for all the family rides including Thomas land. We didn't do any of the handful of big thrill rides they have, but the park wasn't busy so I don't imagine the queues would have been that long for those either. I feel like most people who are only seeking thrill rides would go to nearby Alton towers instead. It's target market is more families with young kids and families with a mix of ages.
