Special holiday ideas - Club La Santa? - 7 or 10 days?

We want to splash out on a special holiday this summer for various reasons and are thinking of Club La Santa. DS will be 16, 13 and 10.
It looks amazing but wondering if a week is enough or if 10 days would be better?
Also open to other ideas - criteria is not excessively hot, not long haul, and not too many unknowns as one DS has ASD.
Thanks!

I have a villa in Lanzarote and Grandkids with ASD. We went for a look and two of them wanted out ASAP.. was too loud/ noisy/ busy. Even for the grown ups.
But we prefer our quiet villa with it's own pool.
We have a car so drive around the island.
It's a gorgeous stunning island and so much to see and do without having forced entertainment and food being repeated on loop.
So many amazing restaurants .
Water parks/ jeeps/ camel rides and much much more to see and do .

Club la Santa is great for kids that age. I would either do the 10 days or have a week there plus a week elsewhere in a villa.
As far as I know food is not included unless you take the package from the Atlantico - it's OK, not great. Local supermarkets & the on site supermarket are expensive & fairly limited, but there are some great restaurants in La Santa town, which is a lovely evening walk away (or bus/taxi)

I've been to CLS for 7 days but only with adults and it's probably long enough for me or I'd need another holiday to recover from all the activities!! I have never found it be loud, noisy or too busy. I don't think I could go in the summer holidays though, it's very hot even at the end of September. You book your flights and accommodation separately so you could always do 7 days there and then a few days at more of a beach resort. Note that the accommodation at CLS is really not special unless you book one of the top of the range villas or apartments.
Neilsons beachclub would be another option if you're into sports and activities.

Thanks! This is so helpful - sounds like it’s not going to quite tick all our boxes so back to the drawing board!

What about somewhere in the Alps if you don’t want it too hot?
