Husband and I are going to the Christmas markets in Berlin end Nov, beginning Dec.
Would love to hear your recommendations for food and drink please... obviously glühwein!

It feels like it might be gimmicky but we had an excellent brunch at the rotating restaurant at the top of the TV Tower. Great good and great view! It wasn't that expensive from memory.

House of Small Wonder is gorgeous and a lovely sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle.
Dicke Wirtin does very good German food. The bratwurst there is the best I’ve had.

Budget?

Umm, bit of everything really!
When travelling we like to try traditional/local, and we go to street markets as well as restaurants.
Probably not tooooo fancy, as we won't have really fancy clothes.

Nolle is nice and has a traditional Berlin menu.

We had a really lovely meal at Fischer & Lustig in the Nikolaiviertel. And maybe not German and festive, but also an amazing Indian meal at Ram, which is near the British Embassy and the Brandenburger Tor metro stop. For traditonal German - Hofbrau Wirtshaus which is not far from Alexanderplatz. It's a massive place with multiple floors and a traditional menu.
