Doing first long drive with bottle-fed 6-month old - no idea what to do about pit stops, making up bottles and how to dress her (usually gets a bit sweaty in car seat).
Any advice would be brilliant!

Make sure you know your route, and where any services are.

Dress her in something cool, but take along a blanket that you can throw over her.

Try and set off at nap time so that she will sleep for as much of the journey as possible.

Have a bottle made up ready to give her. (Have to confess I did spend part of one of my journeys with ds1 feeding him as I was driving as he was screaming by then )

time it, if you can, so it co-incides with a nap time

TBH whenever i took DS on a long drive he would inevitably fall asleep for an hour or more

Take along your steralised bottles and buy some of the ready made formula cartons (not forgetting to pack small pair of scissors)

Also we took a padded blanket so we could lay her down on it for a good kick about when we stopped at services (had to hunt out the best/cleanest corner of the restaurant)
