Am I bonkers, I want to go and collect a tricycle by train, and then ride it back. with the children in the front.

This is pure fantasy by the way, I haven't bought it yet, and probably won't - but would you do something like this?

It would involve a trip of about 100 miles home. We might have to stay somewhere overnight, I was thinking of just winging it?

The baby is 11 mo and the boy is nearly five.

It's meant for carrying children btw.

Nope, not bonkers. I think this sounds like quite an idylic thing to do - just make sure the weather is forecasted to be good

Hope this is not just a dream - I think it sounds lovely

Ahhhhh thankyou

Might take the tent as well! No I couldn't carry that as well as the baby. Can't take buggy on the outward journey really, too much to bring back. But he's small enough to carry.

This is sounding better and better!

Nooooo no tent. You need some luxury along the way!! Just a cheap b and b would be great

I am getting a quite excited at the thought of helping you plan this!!

It is going to depend a bit on the item in question. It's on ebay and I haven't even bid yet.
Actually we could get it on a train...possibly...if they still have guards vans?
I have just found out the same trike new costs £1300. The bidding is going to go crazy.
Nice to dream though!

Hello - thanks for the stationery!! v.snazzy and practical!

I have got to go now - off to work (boo hiss) but I have a long car journey and will be thinking more about this as I drive (I have 6 hours in car so should be able to do it justice)

Get bidding - but make sure you set yourself a limit. This dream can happen but not at any financial cost (St looks stern and menacing )

Gotta go - will be back to check up in a couple of days

Ok - have a good trip!
