Can anyone help me find an August holiday with this stupid requirements list please?

Looking for a 10(ish) night August holiday but cannot find anywhere that meets the below.

DC will be 13 and 10.

We can't go anywhere hotter than the UK, both kids are awful in the heat and refuse to leave the room. Spain last year was a nightmare, we managed the pool in the morning, room most of the bloody day and then evening meal in the restaurant.

Both want to swim all day every day. They love everywhere we've been that has an aquadome with slides. I am absolutely sick of spending my entire holiday freezing my arse off in a swimming pool. Could probably compromise with some swimming days.

We've all enjoyed theme park and waterpark holidays: Duinrell, Efteling, Legoland (Windsor and Denmark) Lalandia and Disneyland Paris. Disney world Florida a no-go because of the heat. Looked at Europa Park but it looks looks ridiculously expensive. I'm also a bit sick of theme parks too.

Holiday park wise we've done Center Parcs (UK only but Europe ones look pretty much identical?), Ribby Hall, Butlins, Crieff Hydro and Landal Green parks.

A city break would be great, but DC need separate rooms now from eachother and us. All airbnbs in cities seem to cost more than hotels and hotels don't seem to have anything with 3 rooms apart from presidential suites.

DH is happy with anywhere, so despite being zero help with organising at least he's not adding to the list of no's.

Any ideas very gratefully received!

oh and Yelloh etc holiday villages have mobile homes and chalets with several bedrooms.

A couple of chalet/mobile home parks in areas I am familiar with (though I haven't stayed at the parks so have no idea of their quality) are Rockley Sands and Hoburne Devon Bay. Neither are in isolated areas so there's plenty of other stuff and things to do nearby.
Rockley Park is in Poole, Dorset right on the edge of Poole Harbour so very nearby are places like Bournemouth, Jurassic Coast (Corfe Castle, Durdle Door) etc.
Hoburne Devon Bay is in Goodrington South Devon and also easy walking distance of some lovely beaches (and literally right behind the road where my best friend lives 😁). Goodrington is on the outskirts of Torquay (Paignton Zoo is very nearby - you can sometimes hear very exotic animal noises) and handy for Dartmoor and loads of quaint villages. I recommend the "Round Robin" which starts at Paignton station about a mile or so away. It's an open top bus ride to Dartmouth followed by a trip up the river Dart and open top bus back to the start - or you can do it in reverse. We saw an osprey and lots of seals in the river when we did it last summer.

You don't give a budget and this one is quite spendy, but just to give you an idea of the sort of thing - this hotel has three bedroom family suites on offer.

I would go to Brittany or Normany france, there are lots of great campsites, with mobile homes and indoor / outdoor swimming pools.

Dammit - The Round Robin to Dartmouth - that should have been steam train ride back to the start!
nb. You have to take a passenger ferry across the river at Dartmouth - the boat comes in the opposite side to the train! I think it's about £1.

Also have a child that could not tolerate heat and some holidays we did, which all involved a lot of swimming but also often incorporated wildlife from around 9/10, a few were

Finland - Lapland Started in Oulu and stayed at hotel on the beach which had its own waterpark and we were only people on the beach and good Finnish food. Flew to Oulu via Helsinki with Finnair and hired car to get there.
Then went on to Arola Bears were you can see brown bears in the wild (stops mid August) and we saw 8 including the cubs. Went with kids were about 8 and 9 and they loved it. Could also canoe there. Homemade Finnish food and fruit juices which were excellent. Other places we went to I think were Ruka which has reindeer wandering around and a summer toboggan, went whitewater rafting and stayed at another hotel with waterpark and Angry Birds in Kuusamo. You do need to research for there as things can be far apart. And early August is better than late August for things open.

Costa Rica - stayed in hotel with lots of pools and a beach, rainforest and wildlife on site, geckos, monkeys, raccoon, coati etc and did trips out to do things like see active volcanoes, horseriding through jungle, going on a waterslide in jungle, seeing sloths, ziplining, hot springs was sea kayaking on site. Think kids were 9 and 10 then and they absolutely loved that holiday.

We have also been to Mauritius which is hotter than UK but their winter in our summer so around 26C in August - stayed at Sugar Beach and Long Beach and that has beaches, pools, snorkelling with tropical fish, glass bottom boats and trips around the island.

Hope you can find something.
