Hi,
Has anyone got experience of Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Ushuaia or Montevideo?
DH and I are heading to Ushuaia in February for a cruise but also have several days either end to entertain ourselves. We fly into BA and are considering the following but are not sure if we woud be too squeezed. We generally like a 'travelling' holiday so are quite comfortable a night here, a night there. We will obviously be fairly rested from unpacking once and being on a ship for the cruise too.
Our soft plans are as follows:
Day 1 - Arrive late pm into Buenos Aires
Day 2 - mooch BA
Day 3 - morning flight to Iguazu Falls. Stay overnight
Day 4 - evening fllight to BA
Day 5 - lunchtime flight to Ushuaia
Day 6 - mooch Ushuaia
Day 7 - afternoon depart on cruise
Cruise
Day 20 - mid morning arrive into Ushuaia port. Afternoon fly to BA
Day 21 - morning ferry+coach to Montevideo. Mooch Montevideo
Day 22 - mooch Montevideo. 7.30pm ferry to BA
Day 23 - mooch BA
Day 24 - mooch BA
Day 25 - evening depart for LHR
I can't quite find what i am looking for hotel wise so I am tending to a decent Airbnb which is far cheaper and means we could also book days 1-5 and days 20-25 in the Airbnb and leave our 'big bags' in the accommodation in BA and just travel with hand luggage each for Iguazu and Montevideo.
Anyone got any advice please?
