Hi all am at a bit of a loss for where to start so hoping someone can help. We're going on our first holiday in a loooong time with our very active 2 year old and nice easy 8 month old. Want to be max. 2 hours flight from London, in a place with a garden and within 30 mins drive of a beach. Private pool not really necessary. Must be child-friendly (i.e. supply cot and highchair). Going for whole of June...Any tips on places/interesting areas? here's hoping ;-)

I rent holiday cottages (about 40 to choose from) in Asturias, Northern Spain - about 1h 40m flight from London. Do CAT me if you want more info .

Pretty much everyywhere in Italy we've been with DD has been fab for being child-friendly. We went to Lake Maggiore last year (flew to Milan) and it was lovely. They have plenty of pools there and watersports on the lake, but no beach. Lots to do nearby though... Milan, the alps, Switzerland border a short drive, Verona... etc etc...
