Morning! So we are off to Tenerife tomorrow (Costa Adeje) and the weather forecast is not looking great - just wondered if anyone had any experience of going with a forecast like this and the weather actually being ok?!

Weirdly the bbc weather site shows it as being full sun every day - but I was told that the aemet site is generally the most accurate.

I find the weather.com site very accurate for most places.i think the chances are you'll get a sunny day with a chance of a light shower in the afternoon, so I wouldn't panic, but I guess with climate change you have to be prepared for anything!

I was there a couple of weeks ago and every day started out sunny but clouded over around 4-5pm

The aemet one is recommended as thats the spanish equivalent of met office. The only time we have had really bad weather was when they forcasted heavy rain all day. if it says showers then you may/may not get anything and even if you do its likely to be short and sharp.

Just returned from Tenerife and it was over 30 degrees.
Freak calima from Africa.
3 of those days it forecast rain not a drop.

They've had heavy rain in Lanzarote today but it's rare to have rain for more than an hour or two and then the sun comes out.
