Has anyone stayed in the Riviera Village resorts in the South of France? Their Kon Tiki resort looks amazing on the website but some Trip advisor reviews aren’t great…saying it looks run down and tired. Thanks!

Weve stayed on the Kontiki site and really enjoyed it. It was a few years ago mind. They seem have done lots of work to all the 3 sites from what i can see - I am quite interested to go back. We had a 2nd row tikki hut which was well fitted out and it was lovely to be right on the beach. They had a very nice spa area and a restaurant on the beach.

thank you @MissAmbrosia....that's really helpful. Which are the nicest huts, please? There seem to be so many different types on the website!

I think it depends what you want / budget. Some have little pools / jacuzzis I see now. If you have a bolting toddler I wouldn't go for a first row on the beach one :). They are fancy mobile homes at the end of the day, so my rule has always been to get the biggest/newest one that meets my budget. The ones further back from the beach tended to have nice little garden areas between.

Will you have a car? We did trips into St Tropez and Port Grimaud (Riviera also have a big site there, which might be better if you don;t want to drive about) but also did trips out to Gassin (gorgeous views) and beaches like Escalet or Gigaro - which are prettier than Pampelonne.
