February winter sun holiday

Hi all,

I want to take the family away in February - somewhere warm not hot, I'm not expecting a beach holiday, but around 20 degrees is fine and not more than 3-4 hour flight from London. Ideally, a place with activities for kids. Any suggestions or recommendations? I have never been anywhere warm in the winter apart from my honeymoon 11 years ago so am totally lost!!!

Thanknyouuu

The Canary Islands are a great option. 4 hour flight and weather normally very pleasant. Can range from 23 to 27 degrees.

The Canaries
Morocco
Tunisia
Turkey
Egypt
Southern parts of Europe will still be warmer than the UK- Cyprus, Crete, Sicily, Southern Spain or Portugal.

Canary Islands probably tick most of the boxes.

Hurdlin · 15/11/2024 16:38

Any of the Canaries would be perfect.

I agree the Canaries.
I've a villa in Lanzarote.
I'm going just before Christmas ( but back home for Christmas). Then back to Villa in February.
Just be aware unless pools say they are electrical heated.. they're very cold in February. ( Sea is warmer but it's the Atlantic and the Islands are in middle of the Atlantic).

Has anyone done Mexico in February? Wondering where to go and if this was an option for a warm/hot break?

Thank you all! I have now focused on Gran Canaria. If anyone has a specific hotel they can recommend, let me know :)
