Hi there all, been watching the threads around signatures and the new black british passport, l got mine today and just signed on the line but with a thin blue pen and then saw it had to be black so just traced a black pen over it which still looks ok but a couple of letters in my last name were a bit thicker, wondered if someone has done something similar and if you were ok to travel. I thought if they say anything l just say my pen was running out of ink hence the blotched lined on a couple of the letters. Just paid for the 1 week service as realised my old passport was due for renewal in mar 25 and was told l needed 6 months on it at least to travel. I'm heading to Holland first by boat and then costa rica so hoping it will be ok.
