I have 4 days available in early Dec to go somewhere sunny.
Any ideas or recommendations please?

I'm going to Tenerife for three nights. Not my first choice but will be sunny and the flights were £100.
Perhaps Fuerteventura?

I'm looking to go away in a few weeks so have been looking up all different places recently myself! You need to weigh up the time to fly somewhere sunny vs only having 4 days away. I've never been to the Canary Islands, and was surprised that they are nearly a 5hr flight away! Morocco/Tunisia/Madeira might be warm, and not as far as the Canaries.
Otherwise Sicily, Crete, Southern Spain or Portugal- you'd be flying closer to 3hrs (from London) and still warmer than the UK.

I had some friends in Morocco late October whilst I was in Portugal. Morocco wasn't very warm but Portugal was hot and the flight is only a few hours.
I think I'd do the extra hour and a bit for guaranteed sunshine right now but then I'm travelling to Egypt for just 5 days in January so I'm probbly not the best person to advise.

I would probably go to the Canaries if you want sun - try to get an early departure and late return to maximise time there.

Marrakech - we were there one Dec and it was chilly morning and eve but lovely blue skies and very warm in the middle of the day.

Thanks All...change of plan...Cotswolds is the destination 😃
Prices abroad are pretty similar plus you pay extra for single supplement. So just not worth it. I've instead booked a posh hotel for 2 nights...

Well, it won't be sunny :)

True...but i'll be saving £400. And looking around, nowhere near shore is overly warm anyhow.
