Just that really. Haven’t done long haul for a while. Always loved Asia but don’t know these destinations that well. Middling budget, wanting beaches, peace, history, nature and the ability to get a bit off the beaten trail. Likely to have two weeks, maybe three, Hoping some more experienced adventurers will share their experiences.

For a couple no kids coming with us btw. Love walking, sea swimming, alternative health stuff - yoga/ massage etc and good food.

Island hoping in the Philippines would be perfect that time of year and so cheap once you get there

Thailand also a great option - probably more to see and do there by way of activities and culture, not just the beaches. Better food.

Bali I haven't been but I have a friend who loves it and describes it as very spiritual. She's done a few yoga retreats there.

Sri lanka I see as different to the others. That's more of a touring around place, lots of culture and places to visit, great food, also very spiritual....I combined it with a week in the Maldives so didn't do much relaxing in Sri Lanka although I know there are beach resorts.

You could also consider Southern India.....Kerala is beautiful

Oooh thank you @sel2223 that’s really helpful. Have done Kerala in the past and loved it. Was considering returning but fancy trying something different.
