Royal Mail delivery options for passports

For anyone received passports recently - did you get a Royal Mail notification with a tracking number, and did it give you an option to collect from a local post office?

No. They're sent by courier not royal mail

Maybe I'm wrong actually as I just checked for the passport we got in March and we did get a notification it was to be delivered by RM. I'm sure in the past it was a different courier

Received by royal mail last month or so. Delivery was to address but you don't need to be home and they will just post it.
