New Year UK breaks

Hi , I’m looking for recommendations on a break after Boxing Day this year until the new year in the Uk
We are 2 adults and one teen

Depends what you like doing, but we had a nice break in Brighton at that time of year. We went ice skating and watched a pantomime, did lots of walks along the seafront, explored The Laines, and found lots of cosy cafes or pubs with fires.
One evening we drove out to the Leonardslee light trail.

Hogmanay in Edinburgh could be a good shout - or we did central London a few years ago with mixed ages and all loved it

Scotland can be expensive at New Year. What does teen like doing? That might inform where you go. Obviously pubs with roaring fires might be out. London has so much available, you cannot go wrong. Manchester has enough too.

Going abroad, I’d follow what teen might like. Berlin, Paris and Vienna would be good. Check where is open though.
