Can anyone answer these questions?!

we have booked Newport Bay Hotel, Half-Board. How do I know whether the restaurants on the app are eligible with my meal vouchers?

we are staying 2 nights and 3 days. Does the half-board include breakfast on the first day? Where do we get our vouchers from when we arrive?

do the meal vouchers include the whole meal or will we need to pay more to cover the difference?

I’ve been recommended the rainforest cafe but it’s not on the app. Does that mean it’s not included in my half board deal?

If we have 3 days, would you recommend spending one day in the marvel park and the two others in the other park? We have 2 boys and a girl.

is there an evening light show in both parks or just the main one?

Any other advice, greatly appreciated!

I have never done half-board, but am sure there is no breakfast included on the check-in day. The rainforest cafe is in Disney village, it's not in either of the parks, so you can't see it on the app and I would think it's unlikely you could use vouchers there. The light show is only in the main park, Disneyland Paris, there is nothing equivalent in the other park at the moment. The studios shuts earlier, so you can catch the night show on all 3 days even if you've spent the day in the studios. With tickets for 3 days they will be park hopper tickets so you can move between the parks as much as you like, they are right next to each other,.it doesn't take long to move between them and you don't really need to decide in advance how many days to spend in each place. I would spend first day in Disneyland Paris park, I would start the second day in the studios and then just see how you want to spend the rest of your time. The studios has less rides, but some of the better rides for older kids, and almost all the shows. The main parks has loads of rides, all the parades, most of the character meet and greets and the night show.

We stayed in Sequoia Lodge half board last year. Breakfast is at the hotel you are staying in, on the nights you stay so won't be available on the plan on the day of check-in.

Some of the Disney Village restaurants are included in the meal plan but doesn't look like Rainforest Cafe is (from a quick Google search). Not 100% sure, but think that when we booked restaurants on the app, we had to indicate whether we were using our meal plan, so assume you can't do this if your meal plan isn't accepted at a particular restaurant. When you check in at the hotel, you are given your "magic pass" which is a swipe card like a credit card for each person that contains your park entry tickets and meal plan vouchers. Would add, the check in staff at Sequoia were brilliant and made sure we were all clear on everything! The menus at the restaurants indicate what is covered for diners using the meal plan. We only went to buffet restaurants for dinner on our meal plan and we only paid for alcoholic drinks. On our final day, we had lunch outside the plan and had table service and it was so slow that we decided if we go back we will only eat at buffet restaurants.

We spent our first day in Disneyland Park but moved between the two parks on other days, partly because the shows we booked (Mickey and the Magician and the Stitch shows were particularly good!) all took place in the Studios during the middle of the day.

Like Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge has a pool and we loved having a busy time in the park then going to the pool back at the hotel for an hour or so to unwind before going back to the parks. But.you have to co-ordinate around parade times and dinner.

We also paid for fast track entry to Mickey and the Magician which we were really glad to do. It's free entry but the queues without fast track were crazy so it was worth paying extra to not spend hours in the queue or risk not getting in.

Rainforest Cafe is not included in the Dining Plan.
