Sandals La Toc St Lucia & other St Lucia tips

Thinking of booking Sandals La Toc, St Lucia for my 40th birthday and our 10 year wedding anniversary. First week away without kids in a long time.
Any reviews please? And any tips on what to do in St Lucia? Thanks

The distillery trip was really interesting with free samples we were there with some Scots and Americans. I think their lack of drinking averaged ours (the British)out to an acceptable level.

@GettingStuffed thank you!!! Would you recommend the hotel/resort you stayed at? If so can you share? Thanks 😊

We did a great land and sea tour and also enjoyed zip lining in the jungle. If we went again we would go for lunch or dinner at the rabot estate. The menu looks great.

I can't recommend accommodation as we went with children and stayed at coconut bay which was great but not where I'd pick if I was child free.

I stayed at Windjammer Landing this year which was very nice. We met some Americans on a trip who were staying at Sandals Halcyon and they were very disappointed due to road noise.

The main trip that everywhere offers is the land and sea tour which usually involves a boat trip to Souffiere to see the pitons and stop at a few places on the way - Marigot Bay is very pretty. Then you get off at Soufiriere and drive to the volcano and mud baths then you usually go to a waterfall afterwards. Then snorkelling - Sugar beach and Anse Chastanet have marine reserves with excellent snorkelling.

We also went horse riding to the beaches in the east coast. You get to ride the horses bareback in the sea.

You can do a rainforest zip wire where you go up into the rainforest in an open cable car and then there are about 12 zip wires. We saw lots of hummingbirds and a mongoose and you could hear parrots.

St Lucia is lovely you will have a great time

Also you read reviews saying the journey from the airport is very long and windy but it’s actually fine. You can get a helicopter transfer which takes you to the Vilgie airport in the north which is right by Sandals La Toc. Might be a nice extra for a special trip.

Walk the Tet Paul nature trail for outstanding Piton views.
