Please can you help?
Basically my husband and I are looking to book a summer beach holiday with DS and DM. Probably June.
Looking at shortish flights so probably stick to Europe. We'd like a beach, preferably a heated pool and splash pool (but can compromise) and maybe some evening entertainment.
It's not the sort of holiday we did as a couple before kids but after a more "cultural" holiday last year with my very hyperactive DC was a bit of a nightmare I think sticking to a family friendly resort is the way forward. 😅 (he still has the energy of an untrained 6 month old labrador and have to assume he won't become super chill in the next few months)
Now the thing I'm really interested in is hotels with 2 bedrooms apartments that don't cost the Earth so my Mum can have a seperate space and is not on a foldout sofa bed. (Which would be fine for my 4 year old but my Mum wants her own space) or possibly where we could get a couple of rooms or interconnecting rooms.
We did Creta Maris in the past and that ticked most of our boxes (although wasn't much in the way of evening entertainment during May)
Budget is £4k and hoping for at least half board.
Any suggestions would be very greatfully received lovely mumsnetters. Xx
