Pollensa but in a different country??

We absolutely adore Pollensa old town (Love the port too, but we always stay in the old town). We tell ourselves after every trip there that we have to go somewhere else the next year, and are constantly trying to find somewhere with the same vibe, but inevitably we end up back in Pollensa every second year because we haven't found anywhere to compete yet. We have done Soller, Nerja, Tossa de Mar, and Sitges, and enjoyed them too as they have a similar vibe/set up to Pollensa. However. We are looking to visit Italy or Portugal for a change. We thought about Cascais, but can't find any suitable accommodation for a large family with elderly parents/wheelchair user. Any suggestions, or are we forever ruined by the glory that is Pollensa?

Tavira and Lagos on Algarve very pretty, nice old towns and Lagos has fab beaches - Dona Ana is the prettiest beach I've ever sat on! I've not been to Pollensa but I've been to Nerja so can see the vibe you go for!

Alghero in Sardinia
Puglia in Italy
Fiskardo in Kefalonia

Rethymnon in Crete is similar

I like those places too OP.

We stayed in Alvor on the Algarve but also liked Lagos (a bit bigger).

You might like the Italian Lakes or Croatia but not if a sandy beach is one of your requirements.

I liked Cascais, Pollensa and Nerja.
Have you considered Tuscany? Around Lucca is lovely, but again, not beachy.

Still within Majorca, have you looked at Portocolom?
