science museum will keep them happy

Science Museum (go to the basement).

Science Museum - go to Launchpad on the upper floors - very modern, re-furbished and fantastic inter-active area.
or Natural History Museum - Dinos, Human Body or Earth Sciences (up the escalator - the fake earthquake exhibit)

I think the launchpad bit which is suitable for this age group has been redone and is now on the 3rd floor.

Science museum every time.

Covt garden is limited unless they really like shopping.

London Eye is good as an alternative together with walk along the South Bank. Would be near to the Duck Tour thing too. You could get a bit of culture in the Tate Modern - just walk in see the exhibit in the main hall and walk out - still counts. Walk past the Globe and food at Borough Market is nice to try although poss not quite so child friendly.
