DD going on ski trip. Can anyone recommend a good ski jacket on a budget?

Hello,
My daughter is going skiing with the school in Feb. Can anyone recommend a brand or jacket? She's going for a week and chances are we won't go again as a family so don't want to break the bank. The cost of the holiday has been enough!
I've been looking on Vinted but not sure which brands are best.

I bought my son a ski jacket from a charity sale a few weeks ago, it was originally from Decathlon.

I was going to use it just as an extra coat to wear to football when he's subbed or out on walks for this country ( we are not going ski-ing)

Can you wear ski coats as normal coats in Winter? 🤔

Sure! They're waterproof in anything but downpours and have padding but not too much. I often wear my ski jacket in the city because they're practical. It seems pointless to only wear a coat one week a year.

I bought all my ski stuff from eBay before my first trip and still use it 4 years in! Just picked up a pair of barely used Salomon ski boots for 35 quid so you can get some real bargains
