Ski & Sunbathing / Hot natural spa waters?

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a ski resort or time of year, when we're likely to be able to sunbath somedays, ideally at natural hot spa waters and with a good long ski run.

We went to Bansko end Feb and loved that we could visit nearby natural thermal springs, it meant I could take a day off skiing relaxing by the pool, sunbathing, whilst my son carried in skiing - the only problem is he found the ski runs too small, as he's a great skiier so wanted longer runs.

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere else to try that had a good nightlife / vibe with live music etc, and natural hot springs too?

In 2025 we can go anytime as no longer stuck to school holidays :) Thanks!

Mid-March is a good time to go with regard to sun - with the downside that some of the skiing can get a bit slushy in the afternoon if the temperatures get too warm. Even in late February it's not uncommon to see deckchairs full of sunbathers at the mountain restaurants in Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Kitzbuhel, Westendorf etc.

Any resort in Austria that has "Bad" in the name - e.g. Bad Gastein - indicates a natural spa resort as "Bad" translates to "Bath" or "Spa". Although not natural hot springs, other options could be a hotel with a "wellness" spa area, or a resort with a big spa complex. See for example the Tauern Spa at Zell am See/Kaprun SPA Water World at the TAUERN SPA Zell am See – Kaprun

Thanks so much! I wasn’t aware what Bad translates to so that’s a great help and will do some research :)
