Apartments in Tenerife?

Could anyone recommend apartments in Tenerife?
there are just too many online.
A nice resort for 2 adults in their 50s, near or on a beach, within walking distance to a few bars and restaurants.
Need a fly and flop holiday with a bit of sunshine.
Throw your apartments at me? Please?

We stayed in Costa Adeje last year at Sunwing Fanabe beach which is a hotel but had self catering apartments. Was really nice and lots within walking distance including the beach. There is a Costa Adeje facebook page too which I used a lot for recommendations for places to eat out etc. We went with Jet2

Royal Sun Resort in Los Gigantes. A hotel with apartments, all have a kitchenette, shop on site and supermarket nearby, buffet and fine dining restaurant on site. Can book direct or through TUI

It's at the top of a hill so quiet but taxis are cheap of mobility is an issue, nice black sand beach with some good snorkeling, restaurants at the hotel / apartment but also overlooking the marina
