Heading down to Cornwall in March and looking to make it a two-stop break. The last part of our trip will be three nights in Perranporth, and we are looking for two nights before this at the start of the week somewhere else. Pretty much able to go to any part of Cornwall, but are looking for something quiet and secluded. Any recommendations for an 'off the beaten track' cottage or something? TIA

Depends what route you are taking. We go via Exeter and I’d look at the lovely villages of Dartmoor and enjoy the National Park. Or the North Devon coast and Exmoor. These areas give you a different vibe to Cornwall.

Exmoor is lovely, some great villages, close to the coast, Dark Skies Reserve.....
