Rimini September?

Someone I work with from Bologna says it was nice in the 90s but made a slightly derogatory remark about Albanians and eastern Europeans ruining it.

I for one don't care about that, I love people from both those places, I'm not British or Italian myself I am from elsewhere

Is it a party destination like magaluf is to mallorca, kavos to corfo, Las Americas to tenerife?

Or can me and my husband go there and enjoy peace with a bit of nightlife that is not too chavvy, have a nice beach, restaurants, trips on boats or to ravenna and bologna?

Any Intel much appreciated 👏 TIA

I went a few years ago. In all honesty I didn't think much of it. My parents used to go there a lot in the 1960s and loved it. I just found it quite boring and bland.

We spent the night there in May - right on the seafront. It was relatively quiet but we found some lovely food. When I was en-route on the train i read about the old town, further back from the sea and that sounded lovely - lots of Roman history. It was too late to change at that point, but I have bookmarked for if we are heading down that coast again.

Thankyou for the honesty! What was it lacking in your opinion?

That sounds lovely! Reassuring that you would return again
