Greece with an 11 month old

Planning to travel to Greece mid June next year for 16 nights.
We will fly to and from Athens, and from Athens can fly to other islands.

Ideally I want to split the stay between 2 different resorts
Looking for accommodation that is child friendly, has a small soft playarea for baby and is self catering

We won't be hiring a car or using taxis so must be resorts that are generally walkable, lots of nice restaurants/tavernas, not hilly etc

Any recommendations of islands/resorts we should visit?

Take reins if they show signs of walking. My dc2 was charging about at 11 months and would have spent the entire time trying to run off cliffs and into the sea. It would not have been a relaxing time.

If it’s as hot as last year you’ll want air con and won’t be wanting to walk around.

We live in the South of Spain right next to the sea, we are used to the hot weather/being next to the sea etc so just really looking for recommendations of where to go!

We took DSs to Greece when they were under a year old. It's a great place to go as children are not only accepted everyway and they're spoilt rotten think free ice-cream and other little treats.

I can't remember whether the places we stayed were particularly sold as.child friendly but they were.

It will be very hot and you will need to think hard about how to keep your baby hydrated and out of the sun. Do you need to go to Greece for a wedding or similar? If not, have you considered somewhere where it will be easier to keep your baby cool?

As mentioned we live in the south of Spain where it is also very hot in the summer..
